I tripped on the red tassels from the gold rising curtain when I was making my way to the middle of the stage. I reached the centre of the stage, grabbed the microphone. I fumbled the microphone and it fell onto the floor with a crash. I picked it up, turning bright red in the face as the crowd murmured. I started my speech, still feeling embarrassed from tripping over the red tassels and dropping the microphone. I finished my speech then headed for backstage.... then the crowd erupted with laughter, I fell flat on my face, forgetting the steps.

The ground started shaking as the volcano blew big grew puffs of smoke that filled the sky with balck-grew clouds. As the puffs of smoke climbed higher and higher into the sky the Buildings started shaking, trees falling with  deadly crashes and the terrified scream of young ones holding on to their mothers and fathers while sprinting down the footpath to their old cars. My family did the same thing but we also but we gathered all the pets on the farm! (Crazy really) As we got over the Mountains, then it all began, the lava spitting volcano had erupted!

Term two Recfition.

What is one thing you have achieved on that you are proud of?

This term I have achieved my basic facts, I have been getting 96-99 out of a hundred I am really proud because basic facts are not my strong point. All my hard work from practicing has paid off. 

What are three things that you have done to be IDEAL this term?

I have been IDEAL because in tech I acted with respect, I enogarage others, I helped others out and I leant with purpose. In modules I stayed focus even if it wasn't my thing. And I have acted with the IDEAL values in the class.

How have you contributed to the caring room 13 class environment?

 I have contributed to the BEST class room 13 (my class) by helping lots of people, tiding up after myself and others, and respecting them for how they are. Also by staying on task. 

What is one goal you have for the rest of the year? 

To keep up my basic facts score. 

What is one thing you are looking forward to in the holidays?

Going to Christchurch and cruising with my family.

And then I saw it!!! ‘AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.’ When I saw it, it made me jump out of my skin, literally! Pale white face with wrinkled up skin under his eyes and all over, slapped in the middle of his pale white wrinkled up skin are a pair of red orange eyes. ‘Palpatine I am’ He said, looking me directly in  the eye. ‘Join the dark side of the force, that way you will be twice as powerful.’ ‘No I will never join the dark side!’ ‘I see the fair in your eyes, join the dark side of the force with me.’

Howling wind and thick mist trying to swallow my car as I drive. I’m in Antarctica which is 3 025 miles away from my home. I’m out in this brutal weather looking for Santa's welcoming house. The first house I came to I knocked on the door thinking that it was Santa and his elves work day and night, the door opened with a crack and squealing rusty Hinges fell off the door. So I left right away. Still looking for Santa’s house and wondering what was inside the first house I went to. Then a huge polar bear attacked…

“Welcome to the speech show” a huge elephant said looking unhappy, ”welcome”. “Where is your ticket ?” A pink-gray elephant said in an impatient tone “right here here reeee” said a startled little girl, wearing a fluffy blue dress with white lace around the bottom. “Take your seats everyone.” Then elephants after elephants came on to the stage to sing or read out their speeches, for hours on end I was sitting listening to the speeches.What I thought was my soft comfortable seat became as hard as rock. Then the last elephant came on, then the Elephant delivered his speech.

“We don't want to warn the intruders,” I said to bella. Bella looked very pale in the face trembling with fear.”Get over yourself” I told my best friend Bella. Bella and I have been exploring an ancient Forest for gold but it wasn't any ordinary forest we thought it was strange. All of sudden the wind picked up and bam we fell into a pit, we were lost. Hugging each other with fear, we searched everywhere but there was no escape. “Phoebe it was nice knowing you” Bella kept on saying. Then we heard the sound of a viola…
